Lauren Waring Douglas

Lauren hails from Charleston, South Carolina, with a BA in media arts from the University of South Carolina and a master's in media management from Columbia College Chicago. She has dedicated her career to celebrating South Carolina stories. Lauren is a proud alum of the New Orleans Film Society’s Southern Producers’ Lab and Firelight Media’s Community Groundworks Lab. She is also a proud associate producer of the noteworthy documentary AFTER SHERMAN and executive producer for the LGBTQIA sci-fi film E IS FOR:.

Rob Rapley

Rob is the founder and owner of Apograph Productions. He is an award-winning
director, writer, and producer of documentaries. This includes more than a dozen documentaries for PBS and other major outlets, which have reached millions of viewers and have earned honors including an Alfred I. duPont–Columbia Award, two Writers Guild of America Awards, multiple Emmy nominations, an International Documentary Association Award, a CINE Special Jury Award and more. His most recent film
FORGOTTEN HERO for PBS’s American Experience series is a 2026 WGA Award Winner.

Producer

Emily Harrold

Emily Harrold is a documentary filmmaker from Orangeburg, South Carolina. Her films have screened at festivals including the Tribeca Film Festival, DOC NYC and the Telluride Film Festival. She is currently producing When Porgy Came Home for Apograph.
